  • Kelp *
  • Asparagus

  • Garlic
  • Lima Beans
  • Mushrooms
  • Sea Salt
  • Sesame seeds
  • Spinach (cooked)
  • Summer Squash
  • Swiss Chard
  • Turnip Greens
The following foods can block the uptake of iodine into the thyroid gland if eaten raw in large amounts.
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Cabbage
  • Cauliflower
  • Kale
  • Peaches
  • Pears
  • Spinach (raw)
  • Turnips
